Miguel Duhamel’s thoughts on the Dunlop Q4 trackday tire. Our instructors and students are also liking this tire a lot because of the phenomenal grip, quick warm-up, aggressive profile that helps with the lean and nice wear. We're back for Round 2! Advanced Technique School (ATS)

Streets of Willow Oct 7, 2019

In April we launched ATS, the Advanced Technique School at Laguna Seca and it was a resounding success! An amazing day and we got comments like "it was the best day of my life" and "best day ever on a motorcycle". So we're going to do it again -- this time at Streets of Willow in October.

And as a special treat Reg and the team will again be joined by AMA Racing Legend Miguel Duhamel who brings insight, instruction and fun to a fantastic day! Miguel was with us for round one of ATS and by all accounts, he's a super fun and informative addition to the program.

Miguel is one of the winningest AMA Superbike racers in history, AMA Superbike Champion in 1995, won the Daytona 200 five times, won five AMA Supersport titles and two AMA Formula Xtreme titles, took home 86 career AMA wins.

In our standard schools we work hard to help you find the excellence inside you and become a better rider. In our ATS we want to take it up a notch. We’ll pick up where the standard school leaves off with more detailed insight into what it takes to make you more confident and in control. The goal of this CLASS is to take fairly experienced riders and work to bring them up another step or two on the ladder. By running just one group, all are engaged 100% of the time with plenty of track time as well as intensive classroom chat and instruction.

Suspension: We will again have my good friend Jeff Favorite, suspension expert - formerly of Fox Shocks on hand to help de-mystify your suspension questions and address problems you are having with bike set-up.

About the ATS: This school will be broken into 4 segments in which you will work more deeply on Downshifting, Braking, Cornering and Suspension. Yes, it will contain some techniques leaning a little more toward racing but the same Pridmore standard will hold toward safety, restraint and respect for your fellow rider.

Who qualifies for the CLASS ATS? 'A' group riders, as well as top-o-the 'B' group riders who have experience at Streets of Willow. Pre-qualification is required for all so if you are wondering if you qualify, let’s discuss it.

• One day, one group
• 20-25 spots available
• Lots of track time - learn, practice and correct suspension problems.
• Lots of 1:1 instruction - cornering lines, body position, trail braking, downshifting, faster, smoother, safer.
• Suggest fresh tires for best results
• Appreciate mandatory classroom - (we'd love you to engage)
• Includes Lunch 12-1 pm
• Please: No Ricky Racers, poseurs or whiners
• Pre-qualification required (let's talk)
• Price $695 ($350 deposit to hold your space)

If you're ready to take your advanced riding to the next level, join us this Fall in the California's high desert for a brand new style of CLASS: ATS.
