Ian Donald's  school day photos here

There's a new addition to the family! No, not the boy, that's Stuart's son Cam, but Reg and Gigi have a new puppy and you'll likely be seeing 'Emma' at the track. She's an Australian Shepherd and her first track day was at VIR. The pup is one of Stuart's dog's pups and we have wanted one of his pups since we first met the dog 2 years ago. Cam was with the pup since birth and made a very good caretaker at the track.
Check out the Robb Report interview with Reg's good friend and longtime tuning helper, John Ethell. John is having a great year as crew chief for Erion Honda's Jake Zemke. We've talked about John on this page in the past and many Force 5 guys (including Reg) have work done at John's Jett Tuning in Camarillo, CA. www.jetttuning.com.
There's a brand new CLASS Tee shirt! In honor of the 30 year anniversary of Reg's 3rd AMA Superbike Championship, we've had a new tee shirt made. It's called "Winning was only the Beginning". The picture on the back of the shirt is of Reg on his first Championship bike, the 1976 BMW R90S in turn 9 (now turn 11) at Laguna Seca. On the front is the small CLASS logo on the pocket side. It's in sepia tones on a sand colored tee, and they are selling like hot cakes! Don't miss out on this way cool old skool tee. s,m,l,xl,xxl. Order yours today ~ $25 shipped anywhere in the US. The order form will be up shortly, or call us at (805) 933-9936.

We're back in California after a great road trip back east. We were once again welcomed with perfect southern hospitality and it was great to be back in Alabama and Virginia this year! We had 4 perfect days and re-connected with lots of old friends and new ones too. As always there was a fun and friendly group of students and we even had about a dozen California students fly out to ride with us including most of the Force 5 regulars.  Thanks to Jeff German and Reg for hauling the bikes.

More than likely you've heard that Barber Motorsports Park is an exquisite place, even if you don't ride the track. Sir Ian went 'round with the long lenses while we were there and has put together a two exceptional online slide shows to remind us all how incredibly beautiful this little piece of motorcycle heaven is. Check it out images of the school (complete with Ted), the track and surrounding area here, and of the museum, here.

BARBER and VIR PHOTOS! Ian also captured the on track magic at both tracks and his shots are now online for your viewing and buying pleasure. Check them out here.

We have video on the way too, sit tight and we'll get that linked up. If you would like to be notified when there's news from CLASS, get on our mailing list. You can do that from the form on the right.

Our spring dates at Laguna Seca were a blast, as always. We will be back at the world class track at Thanksgiving time. How's the weather at that time you ask. I left my crystal ball at home, but I can tell you to check out the video Reg took last year at that time - the weather is usually incredible! It's on YouTube and you can watch right from this page when you scroll down to find it. Those dates always fill, so get your spot locked in early.
Perfect weather meant for a stellar time at Infineon Raceway!  Go for a long ride with Reg at his favorite track in May...

As always, Sir Ian was there capturing the magic and the photos from Infineon are online for you to study, peruse and to buy. You may access the previews by clicking here.

A great time at Streets in April and this from a Force 5 member sort of says it all...  "I have been to more than a hand full of Class days at Streets and still have never come away without learning something that makes me a smoother rider. My wife notices it from year to year on or summer trips. Your cost is $100.00 a day more than other track experiences I attend but worth every penny. No one gives the track time, on track instruction and class room information that you offer. When I attend other track events I am only trying to practice what I have first learned at Class.  Thanks again for all your good work." You're welcome Hugo...

Need a really nice wheel set for your 2005 Honda CBR1000RR? Dymag Carbon/Mag Wheels, Alth Racing Brake Rotors, Talon 530 42 tooth sprocket for a great deal!
We're happy to say a whole lot of you are taking advantage of us: We have a great tire deal worked out for Dunlop tires: $200 for a pair of the incredible street Qualifier® Tire or $250 for a pair of super sticky GP-As or The Sportmax 209s. You know that's an unbeatable deal, so if you're coming to CLASS order tires for this great price and they'll be delivered right to your home or office. But don't miss out, order early and get them on your bike now! Details here.
CLASS instructor Ted Holman is back in business with his Automania of Grants Pass, OR. Be sure to check out his inventory, which includes a couple of bikes from Reg's collection. It's online at http://automaniagp.com/Welcome.html.
A gorgeous day, lots of friends, great teaching and awesome track time made for a near perfect day for our first day out to Streets of Willow this year. There was a lot of Italian hardware and the sound of twins abounded as we welcomed Bill Nation and a group of his guys from Pro Italia who had an awesome time on their Ducatis. It's clear Reg's discount for the troops is catching on as we were joined by some of our boys in camo who came out to ride and have a great time with us. Sir Ian was there with his lovely assistant - daughter Michelle -  and I know they captured a ton of images for your viewing and purchasing pleasure. Don't miss your very own action shot by one of the best in the business! Ian has them online and you can access them by clicking here.
Have you read Reg's book Smooth Riding - the Pridmore Way yet? If you haven't, you are definitely missing out on some good stuff. Check out a new review by a dedicated rider and blogger here.
Another awesome CLASS season is underway and for the first time ever, our first school of the season was at MSR Houston. What a cool track! A caravan out there with bikes and bodies and a great group of students from Texas made for an amazing time! The weather was perfect and we are looking forward to adding this track to our regular schedule next year. Special thanks to Cary Wilson and Mike Hall and Ron Carter Auto Center, who co-sponsored the school along with Stubbs Cycles Southwest.

Ian Donald joined us to capture some of the magic with the long lenses and the images are now online and ready to order! And for this school, he's made some special deals... Check it out!

Don't be a slacker! Don't be the one who turns up not knowing how much pressure is in your tires or if your battery needs a charge! Be ready to ride and your day will go smoothly. Be sure and get your pre-tune-up tune-up. Check out the Force 5 checklist for making sure your bike and head is ready to take to the track next month.
Why F5?  Because it rocks. Lots of you are seeing the benefit of doing a lot of CLASS with our awesome CLASS team, and joining F5 does a whole lot more to your bottom line than just get you a very nice jacket, brake pads and a free set of Dunlops.  There's a even a free day at Streets of Willow and huge savings on CLASS schools all year long. Check it out for yourself - Go here to see the Force 5 schedule and pricing...

1500 MILES OF AWESOME ROAD WITH “BAJA JOHN”  As some of you have heard, CLASS Instructor John Hardin recently lead a small group on a motorcycle adventure from Santa Paula, CA to Baja, Mexico and back. I was fortunate to be part of that group... Read Leeton's story of an awesome adventure down to Baja with Big John! It's posted over at Force 5 or click here. John has another trip to Baja in the works too and you can email him at baja-john@earthlink.net for details.

A special thank you to all of you veterans of the U.S. military. In 2008 Reg would like to extend a thank you - a way of giving back a little to the motorcyclists among the brave men and women in the U.S. military. We want you to know that we appreciate very much what you give of your life for your country. So in 2008 CLASS will offer a military discount to all members of the U.S. military who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan in the past 5 years. You will be eligible for a very special discount indeed - a free CLASS at Streets of Willow or $100 off any of our other dates in '08. We hope you will come out as we extend our thanks and welcome home that you deserve! Details are here.

Last time we were at Barber we got some pretty good footage. Go for a ride with Aaron here...

That's a wrap! The CLASS 2007 season came to a close with our last schools of the year at Laguna Seca. It couldn't have been more beautiful - you know, the kind of day when you can see the Bay from the corkscrew - all day, both days (no I didn't look while I was riding!). Incredible! Sir Ian was there with his entourage (Angie and Michelle) and captured the magic. The photos are now online for your pleasure and purchase and you can access them from a lot of places including the button up here. Oh and if you want to take a long break to see it from our vantage point, here's some video...
Did you know our good friend and CLASS photographer Ian Donald takes much more than just your trackside photos? He's actually a world class photographer and mostly specializes in the motorsports arena. Sir Ian has a new addition to his website where you can sit back and enjoy a slide show of various superb and artistic images from his talented lenses...check it out here and give it a few seconds to download, it's worth it.
Now you can! Ever wanted to have your own Hall of Famer  to call and bounce ideas off of, get riding tips, ask those hard questions that maybe your friends don't know the answer to any better than you do? Reg Pridmore is finally available for Personal Coaching. You can now call him up and have a good discussion about anything riding related you'd like to talk about. Click here for details.
Always busy but no, it's not just for women...  Aside from riding her bicycle, dirt bike, CBR600RR and her hard work here at CLASS central, Gigi has been delving into some exciting new endeavors. See where her entrepreneurial spirit is taking her...
Reg's book Smooth Riding - the Pridmore Way is chock full of good riding information, colorful photos and great stories from the past. But did you know that in it Reg made a prediction that came true? Check out page 42! Don't have it handy? click here...  Do you have a copy yet? "Your writing skills and ability to teach and entertain at the same time are second to none.  Thank You for a job well done." These are words of a rider who's own experience was dramatically affected after reading Smooth Riding - the Pridmore Way. Be sure to put Smooth Riding on your note to Santa!  To learn more about the book or if you'd like to order your personally autographed copy of Reg's book now, click here.

"They are the nicest pair of gloves I've ever put on" - Reg Pridmore. At CLASS, Reg and the gang have used and enthusiastically endorsed Held Gloves since the early 90s. But we're really excited because for '07 Held has  come out with the best glove ever: the Phantom! Learn more about it at HeldUSA.com or click here. Flashback - Just for fun... If you've been to CLASS you probably know we like to have fun - not just on the track, but there's also a great camaraderie amongst the instructors that's very apparent. In 2005 Reg and several of the guys went racing on their RC51s. Here's Ted's version of the first race - complete with video!.
Not too long ago we conducted an impartial survey of hundreds of CLASS students and were happy to find out that we have an approval rating of over 95%. We also had some great feedback on some things we could do to make CLASS even better. We're working even harder to make CLASS the Best Street riding School in the country!
CLASS has another top notch new sponsor! Bohn USA Back and Body Protection Systems. Reg and his team will be wearing the American made Bohn ProRacer Cool-Air Back Protectors this season.  Whether racing or riding on the street , protect yourself! For the best back protectors and other really great riding gear, check out all the Bohn-USA products at www.actionstation.com.

You already know we like to sing the praises of CLASS, but it's really cool when someone else does, like a nationally popular magazine.  Rider Magazine's Arden Kysely had a great day of CLASS at Streets of Willow last fall and penned a glowing review of his day in the May issue of the mag. Click over to our "Press" page for a few of the highlights from the Rider article.  And speaking of magazine reviews, Derrel Whitemyer wrote another great one in the April edition of Road Runner Magazine.

Older stuff...

Racing a new track,
meeting new friends - Reg's trip to France was fantastic. The Bol D'or Classic at Circuit Nevers Magny Cours this past July was great fun and Patrick Bodden, Brian O'Shea and all of the Heritage Racing Honda team were terrific.  Reg and teammate Charlie Williams did very well and had a great time but there's more to the story than that. For a glimpse of the trip, read the story here

Reg is honored yet again!  " I guess this is what happens when you get old and ugly" laughed Reg, who was recently honored with the BMW Owners Club (BMW-MOA) Corporate Safety Award. Due to school date conflicts, Reg was unable to attend the Toronto convention in July for the award presentation.  But that didn't stop them: longtime CLASS student and MOA Trustee Rob Lentini came out and rode with us at Streets of Willow, and at the end of the day presented the award in his own mini ceremony in front of the group. Rob, who is also an MSF instructor, commented before the group, "Reg, you and your organization truly deserve this recognition.  Your training merges well with what is taught at the MSF. I have personally recommended your CLASS Schools to graduates of my MSF courses over the years.  Thanks for all you have done for motorcycling safety". (Ed. note: This was fall of 2002. We recently learned that Rob Lentini passed away in September of 2004 after an illness. Godspeed Rob).

In 2002 Reg Pridmore was inducted to the AMA Hall of Fame.  Reg went back to Ohio for the ceremony and was joined by lots of friends and students for this special and memorable occasion.  For more info on the AMA Hall of Fame, you can visit the AMA Motorcycle Museum Online here.

out of the archives.....You never know who will show up... At Streets of Willow, Nicky, Miguel and Kurtis surprised us with a visit during a break from the factory Honda test day at Willow Springs
